I met Governor Wes Moore of the State of Maryland.

I recently had the great honor of meeting with Governor Wes Moore of the State of Maryland. During our conversation, I shared the deep and historic sister-state relationship between Maryland and Kanagawa Prefecture in Japan, and we discussed the importance of continued cultural exchange and friendship between our regions.

I also had the opportunity to introduce my current work—sharing the beauty and depth of Japanese culture through matcha experiences. Through these hands-on programs, I help people from around the world experience the spirit of Japanese tea culture, which reflects the values of mindfulness, hospitality, and harmony. My goal is to promote not only the traditional artistry of matcha but also the wellness and peace of mind that Japanese culture offers.

Moving forward, I am committed to continuing my efforts to serve as a cultural bridge between Japan and the world, deepening international understanding through meaningful cultural experiences.
